I have been providing therapy online before online therapy was cool. Or necessary in our case right now!
I started offering online therapy when my life took me out of the province for a little bit in early 2018, but I needed to make myself available to my clients - so I moved them online.
It was not easy, I did lose about 50% of my clients, but with that experience I learned FIRST HAND all the reasons why clients were reluctant to do therapy online. And guess what I did? I learned form it! I know exactly why it might be difficult for you to try online:
Your place is too small, you don’t have privacy
You think someone in your house might be listening in - big with teenagers!
It’s hard to keep everyone quiet in the house for too long
A big piece of therapeutic relationship will be lost
It’s just weird talking to a computer about feelings
It might keep interrupting and I will have to repeat myself.
To help you overcome all of that:
I put some systems in place to make at least something easier for you - I streamlined your booking process and made it so simple you won’t know what happened by the time you’re done. Go to BOOK NOW and see for yourself
I started offering FREE 20-minute consultations for potential clients to let you test drive it and see for yourself that it’s not that bad. If you’re it - try it out.
I created a guide with steps to follow to ensure you have the most successful and focused session. Read How To Make Online Therapy Work for you now!
I started offering 30-minute sessions for $70 to help with the time factor. If you’ve been with me for a while and if you have ever been late for a session - you know how surprising it is of how much we still get done in short amount of time!
I shortened the booking window: with only a 3 hour lead time you can book your appointment same day - book a lunch time appointment as late as 9:00am
I do not hide any spots to make myself look more busy - what you see on my calendar is what you get
ANNND! I already have a short cancellation policy of only 12 hours (because life happens) but now during the pandemic, things are even more unpredictable - so I cancelled it! Just please be courteous - and actually cancel the appointment, don’t be a no-show.
